LuaProtect v2 - Script Hub, a New Dashboard & Tighter Security

LuaProtect v2 introduces the Script Hub, a completely redesigned dashboard with light mode, Lockr.so integration, our own giveaway system, stronger runner and keyflow security, a more helpful dashboard AI, and a long list of performance fixes.

Introduction

This is the biggest update LuaProtect has had so far, which is why we are calling it v2. Since v1.3 we have redesigned the entire dashboard, launched a place where you can publish your scripts for everyone to see, and spent a lot of time on the things you only notice when they break: security, startup speed and slow queries.

There is a lot in here, so this post goes through it step by step: the new Script Hub first, then the redesign, then everything else that changed.

Introducing Luaprotect Script Hub

The Script Hub is a new place where you can publish your script directly, for everyone to see. It is connected to LuaProtect itself, so features like the Keysystem and Keyflows work with it out of the box, and more integrations will follow.

Players can like, dislike and share your script, and they can comment on it. You get simple analytics for every script you publish, and the community tells you whether it still works or not, so you get real feedback without having to ask for it.

We tried to make it as simple as possible, so everyone can understand and use it. You can see how a finished page looks right here.

There are two big benefits of publishing through us:

  • You do not need to provide a key. Our team automatically gets a key to review your script.
  • Everything is already there. Your script is integrated with live updates, so what you change in your dashboard is what people see in the Hub.

Of course we know we are not nearly as big as Scriptblox or other alternatives, but it is a nice extra to have, and we will keep improving it.

A Completely Redesigned Dashboard

The dashboard is the place you spend most of your time on LuaProtect, and over the last months it had grown page by page into something that did not always feel like one product. Spacing, buttons and cards were slightly different from page to page, and some screens were simply harder to use than they should have been. So instead of patching it again, we rebuilt the look and feel from the ground up.

The new design is called Graphite: calm, dark glass surfaces, softer edges and clearer text. It also comes with a proper light mode, which is something many of you asked for. Every page now uses the same set of shared components, so buttons, selects, scrollbars, toggles, segmented controls and focus states look and behave the same everywhere.

Along with the new look we changed how things are organised:

  • Script settings now have a side navigation, so you can jump straight to Whitelists, Protection, Messages or Style instead of scrolling through one long form.
  • Key Flows moved to their own page called Key Rewards.
  • Script Issues now live inside Logs, and Roblox MCP inside Integrations, as tabs. That means fewer entries in the sidebar and everything related in one spot.
  • The onboarding card, the AI composer and the stat cards were redesigned as well.
  • New changelogs are now shown to you once in the dashboard, so you will not miss a release like this one.

We also fixed a long list of small UI issues along the way, from text that was cut off to controls that flickered or did not animate.

Redesigned & Updated Docs

The docs got the same treatment as the dashboard. They now use the Graphite look, with a cleaner layout, lighter code blocks and a proper light mode, so reading them feels like a part of LuaProtect instead of a separate site.

We also reworked the content itself. There are new step-by-step guides that walk you through the common setups, and video tutorials you can follow along with. Existing pages were updated to match how LuaProtect works today, and the dashboard AI links to these guides and tutorials when you ask it something they cover.

Security

A lot of this release happens where you can not see it. We improved the runner and script security again, including more anti-bypass systems, and these protections are applied automatically to every script you run through LuaProtect. You do not need to change anything.

Keyflows are harder to cheat now. Scripted clients are blocked, callbacks have to come from a real browser navigation, and sessions that repeatedly send forged requests get flagged. We also tightened the backend security in general.

Integrations, Discord & Giveaways

We added Lockr.so as a new integration, so you can use it with your scripts like the other providers.

On Discord, we added revoke-keys commands, so you can take back keys directly from your server. We fixed an issue where the bot did not pull users in after they authenticated with Discord, fixed an intent issue, and cleaned up the helper bot.

We also built our own giveaway system

Dashboard AI

The dashboard AI is a lot more helpful now. It has more tools to work with, can point you to the right tutorials, and answers more of your questions on its own. It also attaches videos correctly now. A few videos might still not play because they are scheduled, but those will show up once they go live.

Tickets & Emails

You can now attach images to your tickets, which makes it much easier to show us what is going wrong. We also fixed an issue where emails could be lost when one of our services restarted.

Performance & Stability

We kept working on speed. Startup time got another round of improvements (twice, actually), we found and fixed even more slow queries, and we fixed the backend restarting randomly. We also fixed a bug where the key could sometimes not be read from the env value.

One thing was removed: the Copy Obfuscated Script option is gone.

Website

The landing page now shows live platform stats. We updated the marketing pages and the footer, and improved SEO so LuaProtect is easier to find.

Behind the Scenes

Besides all of the above, there were plenty of internal updates, Script Hub improvements and lots of smaller changes that did not need their own heading.

Thanks for all the feedback. Keep it coming in our Discord!
